Agnes and Felleng tours kept coming up number one and they did not disappoint. Agnes was wonderful. Following a few emails and excellent responsiveness and options to my questions, we agreed I would stay at Tambuti Lodge in the private Black Rhino Reserve in Pilanesburg. Agnes organised everything! She secured the last room for me, picked me up on time from my hotel, drove me the 3 hours to the Lodge with some great education and conversation along the way.

I was travelling by msyelf and I felt safe and looked after the whole way.
Agnes picked me up again, right on time and drove me the 3 hours back to my work accomodation.
I had an amazing couple of days - and also want to complement the team at Tambuti Lodge. I would highly recommend Agnes and Felleng Tours and when I go back (hoepfully for a longer time) I will definitely call Agnes first!

As soon as we saw Agnes waiting for us in the hotel lobby we knew we were going to have a great day. She is so smart, funny, and personable. She made us feel so comfortable as if we were long lost friends and she was eager to show us where she lived. As we moved around the city, it was obvious how well regarded Agnes is; many locals came up to greet her warmly, especially at the market and the youth organization in Kliptown. She has a wealth of historical and factual information at her fingertips but what makes her so special is her willingness to put that historical information in context with her personal experience growing up in Johannesburg during the apartheid years. The best part of traveling is when you can connect with someone from a different part of the world than your own. And, with Agnes, you get the benefit of her kindness and intelligence.
