We did 2 full day tours with Agnes, to learn about South Africa's history - (especially about the Apatheid years). Agnes knows everyone in Johannesburg (and seems to be very well liked by all)! She was a great guide and shared lots of stories with us about the Apartheid years, and she knows Johannesburg well so you feel safe (which is important!)
We stayed at their lovely guest house during the time of our tours. The Pilansberg Safari - with Tambuti Lodge, was our first safari experience, and only left us wanting more! We stayed for 2 nights, which means 4 game drives (2 in the morning and 2 in the evening) - and we found this a good duration to able to enjoy and see the big 5. The team at Tambuti is amazing - food is extremely good, and they keep feeding you (and your liver too!) The lodge is clean, comfortable, and an exclusive experience (only 4 rooms)!

  I booked a full day private tour with Agnes to see Soweto, the Nelson Mandela House and the Apartheid Museum. Agnes arrived at the hotel and was on time and... read more with a smile on her face! Prior I was impressed with the great email communication when organizing the tour. A+ service all around!

Agnes was knowledgable, personable, and professional. I never felt unsafe in the area or with her at all. She gave great recommendations for traveling around the area and South Africa as well.

Agnes also knows a lot of the locals and seems respected, especially in the markets. I can see why - she always makes you feel like you are welcome and a friend 🙂

My favorite part of the tour was visiting the Kliptown Youth Program. You can really see how Soweto is struggling but also how improvements are being made, thanks to our donations and the help of others. It was very inspiring!

The owners of the company are very knowledgeable about South Africa and the area. In addition to the tours, we got a feel for the area just having conversations. Pick ups were timely and we never felt rushed. Soweto and the Kliptown Youth Program tours will be something I always remember. I would recommend Felleng Tours to anyone I know going to South Africa or anywhere they book trips and I would definitely use them again. I felt like I made 2 new friends when we left Johannesburg.
