The Eastern Cape is South Africa’s naturally beautiful region and its charm is second to none. From majestic Drakensberg mountains to pristine coastline, everyone has something to enjoy in this region.
The Wild Coast stretches from East London all the way north to Port Edward, the region is home to some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the world. It is a place of steep green hills atop which sit clusters of traditional Xhosa mud huts; a land of windswept cliffs, deserted white beaches, forests, untameable waves and numerous shipwrecks.
This 4- Day tour will take you through the beautiful southern Drakensberg mountains as well as enjoy the various activities that the Wild Coast has to offer.
Highlights of the Tour:
- Drive through the Barkley Pass
- Learn surfing in Coffee Bay;
- Visit the famous Hole in the Wall;
- Participate in various hikes and Village experiences of your choice;
- Traditional Xhosa Experience – Village Dinner.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday, 18 March 2021 ( Departure)- Luxury Bus
Depart Monte Casino (Johannesburg) at 21h00 pm and head towards Coffee Bay via Bloemfontein.
Upon arrival and completion of all check-in procedures at Coffee Bay. Time and weather permitting go to the beach for a swim and guided tour of the area.
Day 2- Friday, 19 March 2021
Highlights for today include participating in one or two of following activities:
- Surfing lessons;-(surfing equipment to be provided)
- Hole in the Wall Hike;
- Mapuzi Cliffs and Caves;
- Beach Day;
- Easy Falls Hike.
- This itinerary will be subject to prevailing weather conditions.
- Lunch/ Snacks are included as part of participation in these activities.
A compulsory Village dinner – indulge in a traditional Xhosa meal.
Day 3- Saturday, 20 March 2021
Highlights for today include participating in one or two of following activities:
- Surfing lessons; (surfing equipment to be provided)
- Hole in the Wall Hike;
- Mapuzi Cliffs and Caves;
- Beach Day;
- Easy Falls Hike.
- This itinerary will be subject to prevailing weather conditions.
- Lunch/ Snacks are included as part of participation in these activities.
Day 4- Sunday, 21 March 2021
Highlights for today include participating in one or two of following activities:
- Surfing lessons; (surfing equipment to be provided)
- Hole in the Wall Hike;
- Mapuzi Cliffs and Caves;
- Beach Day;

Departs for Johannesburg via Underberg.

Terms and Conditions
- All prices are per person on a shared basis
- Clients travelling alone may be required to share accommodation. Otherwise, if you prefer single person allocation you are required to inform us when making a booking so that you can be informed of the extra per person charge for accommodation
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice
- Our Cancellation policy apply in case of a unfortunate withdrawal from the tour.

COVID 19 Health and Safety Measures
The following Health and Safety Measures will apply during the tour:
- Compulsory Requirements
Any person joining the tour will be required to bring and wear a Face mask or face covering cloth and personal hand sanitisers, although additional sanitisers will be provided for communal use.
Furthermore, a compulsory daily temperature checks may be conducted.
- Accommodation and Sleeping Arrangements
Rooms can only be shared with members of the same household or friends, so an additional single supplement may have to apply for solo travellers as prices are normally based on twin-sharing. Please enquire ahead of booking as some flexibility may be possible from the hotels.
- Social Distancing and/or Face Mask Requirements during the tour
We will be changing the way we operate slightly with social distancing in place while on tour.
- Keeping members of the same household together;
- Reduced group sizes;
- Reduced passengers in shared transport;
- Face masks worn at all sometimes.
- Additional Hygiene measures to ensure your safety during the tour
We are required to ask anyone joining the trip if they have shown any COVID-19 symptoms the week of and the day before the trip starts. If you have any symptoms or have had contact with a person with symptoms you will not be allowed to join the trip.
